Wheats in Warwickshire Vase Final

By Gareth Windsor

Local rivals clash in cup final

Wheats face local and league rivals Coventrians RFC in the Warwickshire Vase Final this Sunday. The game will be played at Berkswell & Balsall RFC (same venue as the semi final).
Kick off 14:30.

The two Coventry sides have faced each other twice already this season. Wheats have ran out winners on both occasions. The last time they met back in early January, Wheats won narrowly 19 points to 10 in a close but exciting match. The final promises to be as exciting as last time!

Wheats have had a quiet couple of weeks and haven't played since their 96-0 demolition of Kings Norton at the start off the month. The boys have trained really well over the last few weeks and with another session tonight they will be raring to go come Sunday afternoon.

The squad will be announced later this week, but with over 30 players available and keen to get the shirt on its going to be a tough task for the coaches and the captain to pick just 22 players!

Get down and support the boys this Sunday as they look to win the first silverware of the season and their first cup since 2013!
