Wheats welcome Kings Norton to the Stade!!
The mighty Wheats are back in league action this week at home to Kings Norton. Kick off 3pm.
Great squad depth shown again from the Wheats. 2 changes made in the pack from last weeks cup win at Rugeley. Guy Maycock comes in to partner James Fisher in the row and James Przybek joins an already strong back row of Ben Hands and Andy Haughian.
A handful of changes in the backs this week. Richard Lowe and Sam Eaton continue to rotate each week at scrum half. Tom Brown returns at 12 after a couple of weeks out. Partnering T Bizzle in the centre is Huw Edwards who makes his first start of the season after recovering from a pre season knock. Sam Garbutt starts on 1 wing with Steven Pahal the other. Gareth Windsor drops back to fullback from centre after the win v Rugeley.
A strong bench for the Wheats as always. Mark Rawlings returns after injury and Scott Waite is set to make his 2nd 1st XV appearance of the season.
Kings Norton have had a mixed start to their 2018/19 campaign, winning 2 and losing 1. They sit in 5th place playing a game less than Wheats.
This week we welcome back into the fold Huw Edwards and Mark Rawlings who have recovered from knocks in preseason.
We have great depth in this squad. This week there are 5 backs rowers that are considered first team not available and there are 4 lads there that are equally as good as any of them. In seasons gone by we never had that.
We are looking forward to a challenging weekend! We had a great training session with a former Coventry player Wednesday night who really put lads through their paces and we look to take that into the game Saturday !

All support is welcome as Wheats look to go 5 from 5 in the league this season.
