Wheats travel to Burbage for a top of the table clash!!!
After last weeks fantastic performance at home to Bromyard, Wheats look to be the first team to beat Burbage this season.
A strong squad will make the journey but one player who will not is scrum half Sam Eaton. The in form number 9 rolled his ankle on Wednesday night at training and is now out for 4 to 6 weeks. Marc Rubery comes in to replace him. Josh Waring will make only his 2nd appearance for the 1st XV this season on the flank. Tom Tombleson lines up on one wing after not playing at all so far this season. Steve Pahal is back from a slight injury on the other wing.
Coaches Corner
Lots of coaches say I was missing players not my best team etc etc but the truth is to get the best best team out is like a 1000-1 to one shot.
Changes are the nature of the beast, injuries weddings, stagdos, shopping, being a snowflake. It's about having a squad to cope with these situations that defines your season.
Hocky a Wheat through and through wanted to play but has one of the biggest days of his life today in graduating he deserves to enjoy that.
In the backs a couple of changes young flyer Lewis Faulkner needs to rest his hammy. Josh Manning is unavailable and Ross is back in the big smoke. The boys coming in are no way a down grade!
Matthew 'Cheeks' Cappell
Kick off 14:15, get down and support the boys!
