Well done to all the players that turned up & played the RFU Central Fixture at the WHEATS this morning in a wonderfully entertaining game where 17 tries were scored in great spirit!

The two teams were populated by players from Keresley, Cov Saracens, Dunlop and WHEATS.,

A welcome comeback game for Andy Hibberd packing down at 7 after shedding 7stone and not playing in around 6yrs. Also a mention to Andy T who has returned back to the club after a few years away from rugby - brilliant to see him on the field in WHEATS colours.

A special thank you to Paul Hartopp, Matt Cappell & Joe Bristow who have been pushing this format around the local rugby scene - it was a great success.

Next weekend is VP Day at the Club as we entertain Hereford based Greyhound RFC. If you haven’t done so already, please confirm to Marion if you’d like to attend the prematch sit down meal, and if you cannot attend then please come up and support the WHEATS boys.
